NEW YORK--September 9, 2019--The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI NY) NIRI New York recently announced the new members of the NextGen Committee for the 2019-2020 term and recapped the highlights of a successful 2018-2019 season.
“Over the past year, the NextGen Committee has seen tremendous success growing an enthusiastic and engaged membership base and hosting a variety of programs from trivia night to fireside chats,” said NextGen President Mei Kuo. “For this upcoming year, the team is working on creating even more opportunities for professional development and networking for the next generation of investor relations professionals who are up-and-coming in their careers.”
“Our NextGen Committee has been a critical component to the participation of our younger members, now making up nearly 20 percent of our total NIRI NY chapter. I believe this group will help lead and transform the IR profession and NIRI into the future,” said Alexandra Deignan, NIRI NY Board President. “We welcome our newest members to the NextGen Committee to advance best practices and drive engagement.”
