NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The New York Chapter of the National
Investor Relations Institute (NIRI-NY) will host a professional
development workshop on the "C-Suite Equation" and career evolution in
and beyond IR on Monday, November 17 at 8:00 AM.
Smooch Repovich Reynolds, EVP, Global Investor Relations and
Communications Practice Group Leader at DHR International, will provide
insights into how leadership behaviors make or break an IRO's ability to
be considered a strategist among the C-suite executive team. The event
will discuss how leadership skills build upon technical skills at many
corporations today and how to cultivate your ability to grow as a leader
and advance your career to higher positioning with the management team.
Joining the workshop will be Melissa Kivett, Senior VP, Business
Development and Strategy at Assurant, Inc., and Raj Mehan, Director,
Investor Relations and Assistant Treasurer at Steelcase Inc., who will
discuss their career evolution and the experience and skills most valued
by the C-suite.
The event will be held at Baruch College Vertical Campus Conference
Center, One Bernard Baruch Way (corner of 24th Street & Lexington
Avenue), Room 14-270, 14th Floor.
