Board Elected for 2014-2015 Program Season
NEW YORK, NY - The New York Chapter of the National Investor
Relations Institute (NIRI-NY) announced that chapter officer Theresa
Molloy was honored at the NIRI Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in Las
Vegas during of the 2014 NIRI Annual Conference.
Theresa Molloy, Director, Governance and Shareholder Services,
Prudential Financial, received the NIRI National Volunteer of the Year
Award and was also among the 2013-2014 Individual Leadership Award
winners. The NIRI National Volunteer of the Year award honors a NIRI
member who best exemplifies the group's mission of "advancing the
practice of investor relations and professional competency and stature
of NIRI members" at the national level, and the Individual Leadership
Awards recognizes members for their outstanding performance during the
program year.
Eleanor Powell, outgoing President of NIRI-NY and Executive Director,
Investor Relations of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., said, "2013-2014
was another great season for the NIRI New York Chapter, offering a
broad range of educational programs, professional development seminars,
IRO roundtables, and social and networking opportunities for our
members. I was honored to lead the New York chapter this past year and
to have worked with our board members and volunteers who made our year a
success."
NIRI-NY held its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 17, at which it
announced the newly elected Chapter Officers and Directors for the
2014-2015 term.
Pat Tracey, incoming president of NIRI-NY and Senior Vice President
of Business Development at Computershare, said, "The NIRI-NY board is
looking forward to another successful year in providing the programs and
networking opportunities to advance the investor relations profession
