NEW YORK--The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations
Institute (NIRI-NY) will host its monthly program on Tuesday, October
15. The event will feature Jeff Morgan, President and CEO of the
National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
Morgan will update attendees on NIRI's recent meetings on Capitol
Hill, as well as discuss a number of top issues currently facing the
investor relations community, including the Pay Ratio roll-out, the
potential regulation of proxy advisory firms, the JOBS Act's impact on
IPO activity, and the growing influence of shareholder activism.
The event will be held at UBS, who is sponsoring the program, in
midtown Manhattan. Registration will begin at 5:30 pm and the program
will start promptly at 6:00 pm. A networking reception will follow at
approximately 7:00 pm.

In addition to his position at NIRI, Morgan serves on the NYSE
Individual Investor Advisory Committee. He is a Certified Association
Executive and a member and Fellow of the American Society of Association
Executives. In addition, Morgan was named to the NACD Directorship 100
list of most influential people in corporate governance four times from
2010 to 2013.
