The New York Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI-NY)
will hold an insightful panel discussion this evening entitled, "What
Makes the Buy-side Tick?"
A panel of veteran portfolio managers will share their views on how
buy-siders make buy/sell decisions, how valuation methods are changing,
and what the buy-side wants from company management and IR.
Michael Becker, President of NIRI-NY and Senior Vice President,

Moderator: Michael Pasquale is a Managing Director at UBS and
Head of New York Equity Sales. He is a member of the U.S. Sales
Operating Committee, Global Pricing Committee and Securities
Distribution Management Committee. He also serves as Account Manager
for several of the region's largest accounts. Mike joined UBS in
August 2010 from Deutsche Bank, where he was a New York Pod Team
Leader and Senior Institutional Account Manager. Previous to Deutsche
Bank, he was at Prudential Securities, where he most recently managed
their Sales and Trading team in Boston. Mike has over 15 years
experience in equities in both New York and Boston.

William (Bill) Wappler is a Managing Director of SAC Capital
Advisors. He initially joined SAC in March 2008 as Associate Director
of Research, and he remains involved with all 130+ analysts across the
broad platform. Prior to joining SAC, Bill was Associate Director of
Research for Morgan Stanley, where he also served as Co-Chair of
Morgan Stanley's stock selection committee. Additionally, Bill was
previously an institutional equity salesperson for Morgan Stanley and
a portfolio manager at Kadem Capital. He holds the Chartered Financial
Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of
Securities Analysts and the Association for Investment Management and
Research.

Tom O'Halloran is a Partner and Director of Small Cap Growth
Investments at Lord Abbett. He is responsible for managing the firm's
small-cap and micro-cap growth products, overseeing the investment
teams, and directing the investment strategies. Tom has been in the
investment business for over 20 years. Prior to joining Lord Abbett,
he was an Executive Director and senior research analyst at Dillon
Read/UBS Warburg from 1988 to 2001. Before beginning his career in the
financial services industry, he was a trial lawyer from 1980 to 1986.
He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mitch Williams is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager of
Oppenheimer Select Value Fund and Oppenheimer Value Fund.
Additionally, he serves as co-manager of Oppenheimer Equity Fund.
Previously, Mitch served as a Senior Research Analyst covering
industrial and basic materials stocks for OppenheimerFunds' Value
investment team. Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds in 2002, he was a
vice president and equity research analyst for Evergreen Funds.
Previously, he held equity research positions with Deutsche Bank and
Credit Suisse First Boston and was a financial analyst with Barnett
Bank & Trust Company. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial
Analyst designation.
