NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The New York Chapter of the National
Investor Relations Institute (NIRI-NY) will host a fireside chat with
Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSN, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSNI) on May 26, 2010. Robert
Drbul, Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst, at Barclays
Capital will facilitate the discussion.
Named one of Forbes Magazine's 100 Most Powerful Women and FT's Top
50 Women in World Business, Ms. Grossman is also a member of the Board
of Directors of the $3 billion retailer. She is a 32-year veteran of the
retail and apparel industries with a pedigree resume that includes
executive roles at Nike, where she headed Nike's $4 billion apparel
business, as well as Polo Jeans Company, Ralph Lauren, Warnaco, and
Tommy Hilfiger.
Ms. Grossman will be joined by Robert Drbul, Managing Director and
Senior Equity Research Analyst, Barclays Capital. Mr. Drbul is
responsible for both the Broadline Retailing/Department Store and
Textile, Footwear and Apparel industries. In 2009, he was ranked the #1
Textile, Footwear and Apparel analyst by Institutional Investor for the
sixth time in eight years. He was also ranked by Institutional Investor
as a Runner-Up for the Broadline Retailing/Department Store industry in
2009. Prior to his current role, Mr. Drbul spent time as an analyst at
Lehman Brothers, Salomon Brothers and Federated Investors.
The goal of the fireside chat is for Ms. Grossman to share her
thoughts on effective CEO communication with the investment community.
Hosted by Estee Lauder, the discussion will take place at Bumble
& Bumble, located at 415 W. 13th Street in Manhattan. Registration
