Thank you for your interest in the 9/11 Logler Internship Program. Since 2002, our chapter has helped children who lost parents on 9/11 advance their career goals with meaningful summer internships in the fields of investor relations, PR, and corporate communications at tri-state area agencies and corporations. The program was created over 12 years ago – and re-dedicated in the memory of former NIRI-NY chapter member Elizabeth Logler who passed away at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
To qualify for an internship under the program, you must be sponsored by a NIRI partner organization – the recognized 9/11 charities Tuesday’s Children and Silver Shield – and be interested in pursuing a career in public, investor or media relations or corporate communications. To date, we have placed interns with Acorda Pharmaceuticals, Acquire Media, Altria, BGC Capital Partners, Burson-Marstellar, Capital Bridge, Catalyst Global, EDGAR Online, Hain Celestial, Henry Schein, PepsiCo, and Veeco Instruments.
